3-48 PJL Common Variables for PCL Emulation Note: The word common applies to those variables common to both your printer and the Hewlett-Packard Company's LaserJet printers. Use these variables only for PCL emulation. The [command modifier:value] parameter should be specified as LPARM:PCL. If a symbol set is requested that is not resident in the printer, the symbol set is not changed.
