004736 21 3 4 2 1. Water cock 2. Hose connector 3. Connector 4. Hose Hose connector assembly Use the hose connector assembly to connect to water source. It consists of the following parts. Part name Description C00099 Hose Connecter 1/2" pipe thread Connecter 1/2"mail pipe thread Hose 5/8"in inner diameter × 25' in length Assemble the above parts hand tight as follows. 1. Attach the hose connector to the outlet of water cock. 2. Tighten the connector firmly to the hose. Insert the con- nector to the hose connector as far as it will go. 3. Tighten the hose connector to the end of the hose. 4. Fit the hose connector to the port on the tool. OPERATION 006102 Polishing operation WARNING: • To reduce the risk of electric shock, check the tool's water supply system to ensure there is no damage to the seals ("O" rings) or hoses. A damaged water supply system may result in abnormal water flow to the tool which could be dangerous. 006103 CAUTION: • Always wear safety goggles or a face shield during operation. • Never switch on the tool when it is in contact with the workpiece, it may cause an injury to operator. • Never run the tool without the abrasive disc. You may seriously damage the pad. Make sure that the cock is closed. Connect the hose to the tool. Make sure that water comes out when the water lever is opened. Hold the tool firmly. Turn the tool on and then apply the abrasive disc to the workpiece. Apply slight pressure only. Excessive pressure will result in poor performance and premature wear to abrasive disc. 11

Hose connector assembly
Use the hose connector assembly to connect to water
source. It consists of the following parts.

Assemble the above parts hand tight as follows.
1.
Attach the hose connector to the outlet of water cock.
2.
Tighten the connector firmly to the hose. Insert the con-
nector to the hose connector as far as it will go.
3.
Tighten the hose connector to the end of the hose.
4.
Fit the hose connector to the port on the tool.
OPERATION
Polishing operation
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of electric shock, check the tool's
water supply system to ensure there is no damage to the
seals (
O
rings) or hoses. A damaged water supply
system may result in abnormal water flow to the tool

CAUTION:
Always wear safety goggles or a face shield during
operation.
