get the party started get the party started To turn your speaker system on and off, press the Power button on the rear. The Power indicator light is steadily lit when the speaker system is on. connect wirelessly connect wirelessly To listen to your music via Bluetooth wireless connection, as well as make and receive handsfree calls, you need to pair (link) your speaker system with your Bluetooth phone and/or music device. 1 Turn off any Bluetooth devices previously paired with your speaker system. 2 Turn on the Bluetooth feature on your phone or music device. 3 Turn on your speaker system. The Bluetooth indicator flashes to indicate your speaker system is in discoverable mode. 4 Place your phone or music device in Bluetooth search mode. The phone or music device searches for your speaker system. 5 Select Motorola EQ7 from search results on your phone or music device. 6 Select OK or Yes to pair your speaker system with your phone or music device. 7 If prompted, enter 0000 for passkey. When your speaker system successfully pairs and connects with your phone or music device, the Bluetooth indicator changes from flashing blue to steadily lit. Music playing from your connected music source is heard on your speaker system. 5 connect wirelessly Notes: • After successfully pairing your speaker system and Bluetooth device, you don't need to repeat these steps. For each use, ensure that your speaker system is turned ON and that your device's Bluetooth feature is ON. • Some music devices will automatically attempt to play music when EQ7 re-connects to it. 6 control your tunes control your tunes Playback controls on your speaker system can be used when listening to wireless music streaming from a Bluetooth-enabled music device that also provides remote control capabilities (AVRCP). Press-play/pause music Press and hold-stop music Press-skip to previous track Press and hold-rewind track* Press-skip to next track Press and hold-fast-forward track* * If your music player supports this feature When remote control capabilities are not supported by your music player, the EQ7 simply acts as a speaker system, and music should be controlled from your music player. 7 8
