• The battery capacity is degraded if the battery is stored for long periods while fully charged. If long term storage is required, store at half capacity. Powering On and Off To power your phone on: 1 Open the flip. Tip: Press the flip open button to open the flip easily. 2 Press p. Note: When powering on, if you press p for more than 5 seconds, you will turn off calls and other transmissions. See "Temporarily Turning Off Transmissions" on page 181. As your phone connects to the network, you will see a connecting message. When the idle screen appears, the phone is ready to use.
