Shortcuts and Favorites In standby mode, your phone gives you ways to quickly access features you use frequently: ᮣ Use the navigation keys to use shortcuts for up to five features. ᮣ Press Favorites (left softkey) to access a list of favorite features. Help Your phone contains an in-device help program to help you understand complicated or seldom used features. When you access a feature, Help sometimes appears as a menu item or softkey. Select Help and read the text for a quick overview of the feature. For more information, refer to this guide. Displaying Your Phone Number ᮣ Press S > Settings/Tools > Settings > Phone Info > My Phone Number. (Your phone number and other information about your phone and account will be displayed.) Making and Answering Calls Note The calling information in this section refers to traditional wireless phone calls. For information on making and answering Direct Connect calls, Group Connect calls, and TeamDC calls, see "Nextel Direct Connect" on page 30. Making Calls Placing a call from your wireless phone is as easy as making a call from any landline phone. Enter the number, press N, and you're on your way to clear calls. 1. Make sure your phone is on. 2. Enter a phone number from standby mode. (If you make a mistake while dialing, press = to erase one digit at a time. Press and hold = to erase the entire number.) 3.
