Perform one of the following actions: • To add a VLAN: - Select the check box to the left of one of the VLAN IDs. - Enter a VLAN name in the VLAN Name field. - Click Add. • To delete a VLAN: - Select the check box to the left of the VLAN ID that you want to remove. - Click Delete. • To change a VLAN name: - Select the check box to the left of the VLAN ID that you want to change. - Enter a new name in the VLAN Name field. - Click Apply. Advanced-VLAN Configuration The Advanced VLAN Configuration screen is identical to the Basic VLAN Configuration screen. See the previous section. Advanced-VLAN Membership The VLAN Membership screen lets you set the VLAN membership of each port. The screen functions differently for port-based VLANs than it does for IEEE 802.1Q VLANs. IEEE 802.1Q VLAN Membership Note: By default, every port is a member of VLAN 1, which has a port VLAN ID (PVID) of 1. To configure VLAN membership for IEEE 802.1Q VLANs: 1.
