The same MAC Address is used by all VLAN routing interfaces. It will be displayed above the perVLAN information. Is the identifier of the VLAN. Shows the logical slot/port associated with the VLAN routing interface. Displays the IP Address associated with this VLAN. Indicates the subnet mask that is associated with this VLAN. 14.5 Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) Commands This section describes the commands you use to view and configure VRRP and to view VRRP status information. VRRP helps provide failover and load balancing when you configure two devices as a VRRP pair. 14.5.1 ip vrrp This command enables the VRRP protocol on an interface and designates the configured virtual router IP address as a secondary IP address on an interface. The parameter is the virtual router ID which has an integer value range from 1 to 255. Default none Format ip vrrp [secondary] Mode Interface Config 14.5.1.1 no ip vrrp This command disables the VRRP protocol on an interface. This command also removes a virtual router IP address as a secondary IP address on an interface. The parameter is the virtual router ID which has an integer value ranges from 1 to 255.
