The Clock Battery When the main batteries are installed or the camera is powered by an AC adapter, the clock battery will charge in about ten hours. When fully charged, the clock battery can provide several days of back-up power. Setting the Clock from Nikon View (Windows XP/Mac OS X Only) If the camera is connected with the USB option set to PTP ( 45), Nikon View (version 6.0.0 or later) can be used to set the camera clock to the same time and date as the computer. The Clock Battery
