Autofocus Mode Rotate the mode dial to j, k, l, m, or M M d button M j, k, l, m, or M menu icon M Autofocus mode M k button Set how the camera focuses when shooting still images. Option Description A Single AF The camera focuses only when the shutter-release button is pressed halfway. B Full-time AF The camera always focuses even if the shutter-release button is not pressed halfway. The sound of lens drive movement is heard while the camera focuses. L Pre-focus (default setting) Even if the shutter-release button is not pressed halfway, the camera focuses when subject movement is detected or when the composition of the framed image is significantly changed. B Notes About Autofocus Mode This function may not be available to use in combination with other functions (A75). C Autofocus Mode for Movie Recording Autofocus mode for movie recording can be set with Autofocus mode (A148) in the movie menu. Flash Exp. Comp. Rotate the mode dial to j, k, l, m, or M M d button M j, k, l, m, or M menu icon M Flash exp. comp. M k button Adjust the flash output. Use this option when the flash is too bright or too dark.
