e: Bracketing/Flash e1: Flash Sync Speed This option controls flash sync speed. Option Description Auto FP high-speed sync is used with SB-900, SB-800, SB-600, and SB-R200 flash units. If other flash units are used, shutter speed is set to 1/250 s. When the 1/250 s (Auto FP) camera shows a shutter speed of 1/250 s in exposure mode e or g, auto FP high-speed sync will be activated if the actual shutter speed is faster than 1/250 s. 1/250 s (default) Flash sync speed set to 1/250 s. 1/200 s Flash sync speed set to 1/200 s. 1/160 s Flash sync speed set to 1/160 s. 1/125 s Flash sync speed set to 1/125 s. 1/100 s Flash sync speed set to 1/100 s. 1/80 s Flash sync speed set to 1/80 s. 1/60 s Flash sync speed set to 1/60 s. A Fixing Shutter Speed at the Flash Sync Speed Limit To fix shutter speed at the sync speed limit in shutter-priority auto or manual exposure modes, select the next shutter speed after the slowest possible shutter speed (30 s or bulb). An X (flash sync indicator) will be displayed in the viewfinder and top control panel. U 326
