Movie Settings Use the Movie settings option in the shooting menu to adjust the following settings. • Frame size/frame rate, Movie quality: Choose from the following options: Option 1 1 1920 × 1080; 30 fps 2 2 1920 × 1080; 25 fps 2 3 1920 × 1080; 24 fps 2 4 1280 × 720; 60 fps 2 5 1280 × 720; 50 fps 2 6 1280 × 720; 30 fps 7 1280 × 720; 25 fps Maximum bit rate (Mbps) ★ high quality Normal 24 12 24 12 24 12 24 12 24 12 12 8 12 8 Maximum length 29 min. 59 s y 1 Actual frame rate is 29.97 fps for values listed as 30 fps, 23.976 fps for values listed as 24 fps, and 59.94 fps for values listed as 60 fps. 2 Maximum length for ★ High quality movies is 20 minutes. • Microphone: Turn the built-in or optional ME-1 stereo microphones on or off or adjust microphone sensitivity. Choose Auto sensitivity to adjust sensitivity automatically, Microphone off to turn sound recording off; to select microphone sensitivity manually, select Manual sensitivity, then highlight an option and press J. • Destination: Choose the slot to which movies are recorded. The menu shows the time available on each card; recording ends automatically when no time remains. Note that regardless of the option selected, photographs are recorded to the card in the primary slot (0 89). 70
