FOLDERS FOR MULTIMEDIA MESSAGES The phone has different folders for saving received and sent multimedia messages. To open a folder, press Menu in standby mode, and select Messages, Multimedia msgs. and one of the following folders: • Inbox where the phone saves received messages. • Sent items where the phone saves sent messages if the Save sent messages setting in the Multimedia msgs. menu is Yes. See Settings for multimedia messages. • Saved items where you can save messages for later use. • Outbox where a message is saved until it is sent. Press Options to, for example, resend a message whose sending has failed. Deleting messages TO DELETE A SINGLE MESSAGE: 1 Press Menu in standby mode and select Messages, Text messages or Multimedia msgs., and the desired message folder. 2 Select the message you want to delete, press Options, and select the appropriate function. TO DELETE ALL MESSAGES FROM A FOLDER OR ALL THE FOLDERS: 1 Press Menu in standby mode and select Messages, Text messages or Multimedia msgs., and Delete messages. 2 To delete all the messages from a folder, select the desired folder and press Yes. To delete all the text messages from all the folders, select All messages and press Yes. Chat Chat is a fast way to have a conversation using text messages. Each chat message is sent as a separate text message. The messages received and sent during a chat are not saved. 1 To start a chat, press Menu in standby mode and select Messages and Chat.
