2. Make sure that the power cord is unplugged. Press a Base Cap (74) into each side of the Base (94). Identify the Right Upright (90). Have a second person hold the Right Upright near the Base (94). See the inset drawing. Tie the wire tie in the Right Upright (90) securely around the end of the - NordicTrack C 600 Treadmill | English Manual - Page 11
4. Make sure there is a Wheel Spacer (63) inside each Front Wheel (62). 4 Hold a Front Wheel (62) inside the bottom of the Right Upright (90), and insert a 3/8" x 4" Screw (7) with a 3/8" Star Washer (13) into the Right Upright and the Front Wheel. Repeat this step with the Left Upright (not - NordicTrack C 600 Treadmill | English Manual - Page 12
onto the Right Upright (90). Do not press the Base Covers into place yet. 89 82 90 83 7. Identify the right handrail assembly (B). 7 Attach the right handrail assembly (B) to the Right Upright (90) with two 5/16" x 2 1/2" Screws (28) and two 5/16" Star Washers (11). 8. Attach the left handrail assembly (C) to the Left Upright (89) with two 5/16" x 2 1/2" Screws (28) 8 and two 5/16" Star Washers (11); do not fully tighten the Screws yet. 28 11 C - NordicTrack C 600 Treadmill | English Manual - Page 14
10. Identify the Right and Left Trays (27, 36). 10 Attach the Trays (27, 36) to the Console Base (64) with eight #8 x 1/2" Screws (1). Tip: It may be easier to start the two inside Screws and 1 then slide the Trays into place before tighten- ing the other six Screws. the Handrails (86). Make sure not to pinch any 13 wires. Insert the excess Upright Wire (81) into the Right Upright (90). Attach the console assembly to the brackets on the Handrails (86) with four 5/16" x 3/4" Screws (4) and four 5/16" Star Washers (11); do not fully tighten the Screws yet. 86 - NordicTrack C 600 Treadmill | English Manual - Page 16
Left and Right Uprights (89, 90) with two #8 x 3/4" Screws (2). Note: The top edge of each Outside Upright Covers needs to be inserted under the console assembly. Rotate each Cover at an angle as you set it against the Upright. Make sure not to overtighten the Screws. 15 Console - NordicTrack C 600 Treadmill | English Manual - Page 17
Left Outside Upright Cover (87) and into the bottom of the left handrail assembly (C). Be sure to orient the Plate as shown. Make sure not to overtighten snap together. Repeat the steps above on the other side of the treadmill with the Right Outside Upright Cover (96) and the Right Inside Upright - NordicTrack C 600 Treadmill | English Manual - Page 18
If it is assembled on a smooth surface, the treadmill may roll forward during this step. Raise the Frame (56) to the upright position. Have a second person hold the Frame until step 20 is completed. Orient the Latch Crossbar (38) as shown. Make sure that the “"This side toward belt”" sticker (D) is - NordicTrack C 600 Treadmill | English Manual - Page 19
there are sheets of plastic on the treadmill decals, remove the plastic. To protect the oor or carpet, place a mat under the treadmill. Note: Extra parts may be included. ADJUSTMENT HOW TO CONNECT THE POWER CORD Use a Surge Suppressor Your treadmill, like other electronic equipment, can be damaged by sudden voltage changes in your home’'s power. HOW TO FOLD AND MOVE THE TREADMILL HOW TO FOLD THE TREADMILL To avoid damaging the treadmill, adjust the incline to zero before you fold the treadmill. Then, remove the key and unplug the power cord. TROUBLESHOOTING Most treadmill problems can be solved by following the simple steps below. Find the symptom that applies, and follow the steps listed. If further assistance is needed, see the front cover of this manual. SYMPTOM: The power does not turn on a. You can use your heart rate as a guide to find the proper intensity level. The chart below shows recommended heart rates for fat burning and aerobic exercise, adjust the intensity of your exercise until your heart rate is near the highest number in your training zone.
