USB Install: Windows® 98 INSTALL THE PRINTER DRIVER Before you start the install, be sure the USB cable is connected to your printer and PC, and your printer is powered off. 1. Turn the printer on. 2. Windows Add New Hardware Wizard displays. Click Next. 3. Select Search for the best driver... Click Next. 4. Insert the CD into the CD-ROM drive. 5. Select CD-ROM drive, clear other choices. Click Next. 6. The OKI USB device is detected. Click Next. 7. The File is copied. Click Finish. If the Menu Installer displays, click Cancel and continue the install using Add Printer Wizard. 8. The Add New Hardware Wizard appears. Click Next. 9. Select Search for the best driver... Click Next. 10.Select CD-ROM Drive. Select Specify Location. Clear other selections. 11.Click Browse. Navigate to your CD-ROM drive\ Drivers\USB\Win9xme\English\PCL Emul. Click OK. 12.Click Next. 13.Click Next. 14.Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation. 15.Click Finish. 4
