Verifying Correct Installation 1. Print a MenuMap: a. Press ON LINE to place the printer off line. b. Press MENU one or more times until INFORMATION MENU appears. c. Press ITEM + one or more times until PRINT MENU MAP appears. d. Press SELECT. The MenuMap Prints. 2. Check the information at the top of the MenuMap. "Flash Memory" should appear, showing the memory (8 or 16 MB) of the Flash DIMM you installed. Note: If it does not appear, repeat the above steps and be sure the Flash DIMM is in the correct slot and is pushed in completely at both ends (you'll hear it snap up into place). Then reprint the MenuMap and check for Flash Memory again. 3. Press ON LINE. 8 Verifying Correct Installation

d. Press SELECT.

2. Check the information at the top of the MenuMap. “Flash Memory” should
appear, showing the memory (8 or 16 MB) of the Flash DIMM you installed.
Note
:
If it does not appear, repeat the above steps and be sure the Flash
DIMM is in the correct slot and is pushed in completely at both ends
(you’ll hear it snap up into place). Then reprint the MenuMap and
check for Flash Memory again.
3. Press ON LINE.
