Storing and Handling Media To help prevent paper jams, poor print quality and printer breakdown, it is important to observe the following recommendations when storing paper: • Store paper - at a temperature of 50 to 86°F (10 to 30°C) - at relative humidity of 30 to 65% - away from direct sunlight - flat, not on its edge, bent or curled - preferably in a cabinet • After opening a ream of paper, use the original cover sheets to wrap up the paper not used.
