RESIZING PLAYINGBACK PICTURES You can change the size of a selected image to 640 × 480 or 320 × 240 and record the image as separate image data. Use this function when you send an e-mail to send the image as an attachment in smaller image size. 1 Close the lens barrier and press the button. The monitor will turn on. 2 Display the image you want to resize on the monitor and press the button. The Play menu screen will be displayed. 3 Select [EDIT] using the / buttons and press the button. 4 Select [ ] using the / buttons and press the button. 5 Select [640 × 480 CREATE] or [320 × 240 CREATE] using the / buttons and press the button. The size of the image will be changed and the image will be recorded as separate image data. Note 54 • This function is not available for moving images. • If the selected image size is 640 × 480 or less, you cannot select [640 × 480 CREATE] in the menu. • If the selected image size is 320 × 240, you cannot select [320 × 240 CREATE] in the menu. • This function is not available if you are using a SmartMedia card with a write-protect seal affixed to it.
