Playing SD cards Do not remove the card or turn off the unit while the card is being read from ("Card Reading..." is on the display) or the unit is using the card. This can corrupt your data. p You can use SD Memory Cards with capacities from 8 MB to 2 GB (➜ page 11). p When you insert a SD card while the unit is on, playback starts automatically. Cut-off corner Press on the center of the card until it clicks into place. Label side Diagram of inserted card p If you are using a miniSDTM card, insert it into the miniSDTM card adaptor that comes with ADAPTER the card. Insert and remove this adaptor from the unit. Close the cover. 2 Press and hold until the power comes on. ON Play begins automatically. When "AUX" or "DISC" is displayed, press [AV SELECT] several times until "SD" is displayed. (SD Indicator lights while "SD " is selected. To turn the illumination off ➜ page 16, Adjusting the picture quality on the LCD.) p [SD\VIDEO] Adjust the volume. p When playing a SD card that contain both "Picture" and "Video " content, "Picture" content will be played first. w To change content SD Card Menu TOP MENU Picture Video Press to display "SD Card Menu". to select and press ENTER Press [ ] to select "Picture" or "Video" and press [ENTER]. Play begins. p While stopped, the unit automatically turns off once 15 minutes (after approximately 5 minutes when using the battery pack) have elapsed. p If you are experiencing problems, refer to troubleshooting guide (➜ page 36). w Remove the card Open the cover.
