Voice Mail Service Voice mail service is an electronic on-line answering system offered by your telephone company. After subscribing, the voice mail system can answer calls automatically when your line is busy or if calls are not answered. Callers can leave messages by following the pre-recorded instructions. When voice mail messages are recorded, "Voicemail" and " " will be displayed and the VOICE MAIL indicator on the base unit will flash. To use this feature, you must first store your access number. Storing a Voice Mail Access Number Make sure the unit is in the standby mode initially. 1 Press (FUNCTION/EXIT/CH). 2 Press Ö or Ñ repeatedly until the arrow points to "Program", and press FWD/EDIT á (Yes key). HProgram GF H=Yes 3 Press Ö or Ñ repeatedly until the arrow points to "Save mailbox#", and press FWD/EDIT á (Yes key). HSave mailbox# Voicemail tone GF H=Yes 4 Enter your access number, up to 32 digits. •You may enter pauses*. •If you enter a wrong number, press (INTERCOM/CLEAR). Digits are erased from the right.
