Removing Clogs Hose Tuyau Manguera Cover (Suction Inlet) Couvercle (Entrée d'aspiration) Cubierta (Abertura de aspiración) Short Hose Tuyau court Manguera corta The hose located on the back of the vacuum cleaner carries the dirt from the nozzle up to the dust bag. If the hose should become clogged: ➢ Unplug vacuum cleaner. ➢ Pull open suction inlet cover and check for clogging. ➢ Disconnect wand from short hose and check wand and hose. ➢ Plug in vacuum cleaner and turn on. ➢ Disconnect wand and stretch hose in and out to remove clog. + Short Hose Tuyau court Manguera corta Hose Fitting Raccord du tuyau Conexión para manguera ➢ If clog still exists, turn vacuum cleaner OFF and UNPLUG POWER CORD. ➢ Remove lower plate. ➢ Remove short hose from nozzle by lifting straight up. ➢ Inspect hose end and clear any obstructions. ➢ Reinstall short hose and lower plate. - 36 -

If the hose
should become clogged
:
➢
Unplug vacuum cleaner.
➢
Pull open suction inlet cover and
check for clogging.
➢
Disconnect wand from short hose
and check wand and hose.
➢
Plug in vacuum cleaner and turn on.
➢
Disconnect wand and stretch hose in
and out to remove clog.
➢
If clog still exists, turn vacuum
cleaner OFF and UNPLUG POWER
CORD
.
➢
Remove lower plate.
➢
Remove short hose from nozzle by
lifting straight up.
➢
Inspect hose end and clear any
obstructions.
➢
Reinstall short hose and lower plate.
