• Open Capture Tool. Click on Tools > Capture. You will be asked to enter a name for the tape, or in this case, since there is no tape, the camera. If configured correctly you will see the camera output in your composer window. If not configured correctly, click on the deck pull down menu and click on check decks Key Point. Make sure that your camera is set to the same resolution and frame rate as your Avid Media Composer Project. Select Audio and Video Tracks and TC Click on capture button. You are now recording.
