Condensation ●If condensation adheres to the unit, the lens may fog and the unit and SD card may not function properly. Avoid sharp changes in temperature and humidity. ●Condensation may adhere in the following cases: • After summer rain showers or in humid places where the air is thick with steam • When heaters are turned on in cold rooms • When moving from cold places to warm places • When the unit is directly exposed to cold drafts (i.e., air conditioners, etc.) ●In the event of differences in temperature or humidity, place the unit in a plastic bag, remove as much air as possible, seal and let it sit for about 1 hour to adjust to the ambient temperature. ●If the lens fogs up, remove the battery and disconnect the AC adaptor, open the card/battery door and let it sit for about 1 hour to adjust to the ambient temperature. Cleaning ●Remove the battery and disconnect the AC adaptor. ●Do not use benzene, thinner, alcohol, etc. (These substances can cause deformation and peeling.) ●Wipe off fingerprints and dust with a soft dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, soak a cloth in water, wring it out well, and use it to wipe the dirty surfaces. Condensation
If condensation adheres to the unit, the lens may fog and the unit and SD card
may not function properly. Avoid sharp changes in temperature and humidity.
Condensation may adhere in the following cases:
After summer rain showers or in humid places where the air is thick with
steam
When heaters are turned on in cold rooms
When moving from cold places to warm places
When the unit is directly exposed to cold drafts (i.e., air conditioners, etc.)
In the event of differences in temperature or humidity, place the unit in a
plastic bag, remove as much air as possible, seal and let it sit for about 1 hour
to adjust to the ambient temperature.
If the lens fogs up, remove the battery and disconnect the AC adaptor, open
the card/battery door and let it sit for about 1 hour to adjust to the ambient
temperature.
Cleaning
Remove the battery and disconnect the AC adaptor.
Do not use benzene, thinner, alcohol, etc. (These substances can cause
deformation and peeling.)
Wipe off fingerprints and dust with a soft dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, soak a
cloth in water, wring it out well, and use it to wipe the dirty surfaces. Then wipe
the surfaces with a dry cloth.
Use chemically treated tissues in accordance with warnings and indications.
