Shutter release button Four-way controller OK button Taking Pictures Using the Self-timer In self-timer mode, the picture is taken ten seconds or two seconds after the shutter release button is pressed. 4 1 2 Press the four-way controller (2) in Capture mode. Press the four-way controller (45) to select g (Self-timer) or (2 sec. Self-timer). 3 Press the OK button. Drive Mode Self-timer The camera is ready for taking pictures using the Self-timer. 4 Press the shutter release button halfway. OK OK The focus frame on the LCD monitor will light green when the camera is in focus. 5 Press the shutter release button fully. The self-timer starts running. g (Self-timer) : The picture is taken after the self-timer lamp lights for about seven seconds, then blinks for about three seconds. (2 sec. Self-timer) : The picture is taken after the self-timer lamp blinks for about two seconds. Focusing may be compromised if you move the camera while the self-timer is running. • The countdown appears on the LCD monitor when you press the shutter release button. • If you press the shutter release button halfway during a countdown, the countdown stops.
