Transfer the initials with a fabric marker to the area to be embroidered. Attach the darning foot and bring it into the darning position (see page 63). Lower the feed dog. Place a tear-away stabilizer under your fabric. Then place a piece of water-soluble stabilizer on the fabric. Place the fabric in an embroidery zigzag stitch, in varying widths, to follow right hoop your side of the and use the traced lines. Do not forget to use the darning position. Knot the threads on the back the stabilizers. The remaining of your project water-soluble and remove stabilizer will dissolve in water. TIP: Sewing at a medium to fast speed will allow you to move the fabric more slowly and give you more control of your free-motion monogram. A slightly faster speed will also give you more consistency in the density of your stitches. Practice on scrap fabric until you are comfortable with the free-motion technique. Block along capitals are the marked a little easier to lines with stitch embroider. Simply stitch 3, stitch width 3-6 mm and stitch density 0.2 - 0.3 mm.
