Place the two fabric edges so that they - overlap by about 2 cm and overstitch each edge with fancy elastic stitch. Pennant stitch (models 6152 and 6232) The pennant stitch is one of the many types of covering stitches. Since it can be stretched it is particularly suitable for overstitching th bands on elastic material, e.g. sweatshirts or sportswear. Sew the band onto the part with overlock - stitch. The seam allowance can now be overstit - ched from the right side of the fabric. Make sure that the needle enters in the shadow of the seam. 45
