Equalizer Equalizer L This menu is available only while a call is in progress. This option allows you to choose from 5 different equalizer settings. , You access it while in conversation with a caller: press , select Equalizer, scroll through the list, and wait a few seconds to hear the difference. Press , to confirm your choice. Vibra alert Allows you to activate/deactivate the vibrating alert when receiving a call. Vibra alert Security This menu ensures the security of your phone by locking the keypad, limiting calls to public numbers, prohibiting specific incoming and outgoing calls, activating security via PIN codes and changing those PIN codes. Keypad lock Allows you to activate/deactivate the keypad lock. When your keypad is locked, e unlock it by pressing and holding the key when in idle mode. The keypad Keypad lock automatically unlocks when receiving a call. L When your keypad is locked, you can still place an emergency call (see page 46). Public names Allows you to manage a specific names list, called Public Names list, and restrict calls to this list via the Call restriction option. L Public names This feature is operator and subscription dependent; it requires a PIN2 code (see page 30). Please note that when activating this option, it might also apply to WAP and e-mail connections over GPRS. • Public names Public names Allows you to consult and modify your Public Names list. You can enter a new name, modify or delete a name in the list via PIN2 code. Use the option to enter the name and phone number of a new name (see "Text or number entry" page 5).
