Messages In addition to calling people, you can also send them text messages, called SMS, together with a melody or an emotion icon (optional). These short messages can be sent to any correspondent (saved in the Phonebook or not) and are displayed on their mobile phone screen when received. The Send SMS item of the Messages menu allows you to: Send SMS • send a standard or customised short text message to someone, • edit the last message sent, to modify it if needed, and send it again, • add an iMelody, predefined sounds, an animation or an icon to your message. The standard SMS messages are displayed one after another: Please call me back at... for example allows you to select a pre-configured message including your number, if this number is the first one of the Own numbers option (see page 42). Send an SMS To a name in the list • To the default number if several (phonebook in phone) or to the unique voice number (phonebook in SIM) 1 Press + and select the name of your choice. 2 Press ,, select Send SMS and press ,, then follow the instructions below to send a message with or without a melody. • To the number of your choice (phone name list only) 1 Press + and select the record of your choice. Press ,, select Show and press ,. 2 Select the number of your choice and press ,. , 3 Select Send SMS and press , then follow the instructions below to send a message with or without a melody. To any other name 1 To send a short message to someone whose number isn't stored in the C Phonebook, press and select Messages, then Send SMS and New. 2 Enter the phone number to which the message should be sent to and + press . Messages

The
Send SMS
