08 Initial Settings menu player can't determine the appropriate settings, the defaults are Dolby Digital, DTS and PCM. If you need to change the settings, move the cursor right and make the new setting. Auto Select Play • Default setting: Off You only need to make this setting if you connected this player to other equipment using the i.LINK interface. Initial Settings Digital Audio Out Video Output Language Display Options Speakers i.LINK Setup Audio Out Connections Setup Auto Select Play DVD-Audio Out Off VSX-49TXi VSX-AX10i Using this setting you can specify up to five receivers to automatically switch input function to this player when you start playback of a disc. Highlight a receiver from the list and press ENTER. The most recently selected component is marked with a orange box ( ). The i.LINK output when playing Dolby Digital, DTS or MPEG discs will be as set for this component (see also Connections Setup above). Select Off to reset all the settings. When the i.LINK connections are changed, the following screen appears. DVD-Audio Out • Default setting: 5.1 Channel You only need to make this setting if you connected this player to other equipment using the i.LINK interface. Initial Settings Digital Audio Out Video Output Language Display Options Speakers i.LINK Setup Audio Out Connections Setup Auto Select Play DVD-Audio Out 2 Channel 5.1 Channel Set this to 5.1 Channel to enjoy surround sound when playing multichannel discs. To downmix a multichannel source when using the i.LINK connection, set to 2 Channel for stereo output. • When set to 5.1 Channel, you'll only get sound from all speakers when playing multichannel discs. • Some DVD-Audio discs don't allow downmixing of audio. These discs always output multi-channel audio regardless of the setting made here. 78 En
