• Turning the Camera On and Off Slide the Power Switch in the arrow direction shown near the Power Switch and hold it for 2 seconds to turn on the camera. You will hear a beep sound and the Operation LED will light up in green. The Flash Charge LED will blink in red, indicating charging the Flash. It will stop blinking upon fully charging the Flash. Slide the Power Switch again and hold it for 2 seconds to turn off the camera. • Checking the Batery Level Check the battery power level before taking pictures . 1. Turn on the camera by sliding and holding the Power Switch in the arrow direction shown near the switch for 2 seconds. 2. Set the camera in Auto, A/S/M or Video mode. 3. Check the battery power status that appears on the LCD screen. Battery has adequate power. Battery power is low. Battery power is exhausted. "Replace battery" will appear on the LCD screen when the battery is exhausted and then the camera will turn off automatically. Please recharge the battery. • How to Navigate Menus Use the 4-way control to select on-screen menu items. Press and buttons to scroll up and down through menus.
