3. Locate the two Rubber Rings (91) that have tapered edges (see the inset drawing). Discard the Rubber Rings without tapered edges. Slide a Rubber Ring (91) onto the post on each Upright (11). Refer to the inset drawing. Make sure that each Rubber Ring is turned so that the tapered edge is toward the thickest part of the post. 3 Post 91 11 Tapered Edge Post 91 11 4. Slide the upper end of one of the Handrails (1) onto the post on one of the Uprights (11). Push the Handrail for- 4 ward as far as possible. Tighten a Handrail Screw (89) into the Handrail. Next, align the lower end of the Handrail with the indicated hole in the Upright. Tighten a Handrail Bolt (88) with a Handrail Washer (90) into the Handrail and the Upright. 11 89 89 Attach the other Handrail (1) in the same way. 1 1 11 5. Attach the Storage Latch (14) to the left Upright (11) with two Latch Screws (89). Be careful not to overtighten the Latch Screws. 88 90 5 14 90 88 11 89 6. Make sure that all parts are tight before you use the treadmill. Keep the included allen wrench in a secure place. The allen wrench is used to adjust the walking belt (see page 13). Cover the floor beneath the treadmill to protect the floor or carpet. 6

Slide the upper end of one of the Handrails (1) onto the
post on one of the Uprights (11). Push the Handrail for-
ward as far as possible. Tighten a Handrail Screw (89)
into the Handrail. Next, align the lower end of the
Handrail with the indicated hole in the Upright. Tighten a
Handrail Bolt (88) with a Handrail Washer (90) into the
Handrail and the Upright.
Attach the other Handrail (1) in the same way.
5. Attach the Storage Latch (14) to the left Upright (11) with
two Latch Screws (89).
Be careful not to overtighten
the Latch Screws.

Make sure that all parts are tight before you use the treadmill.
Keep the included allen wrench in a secure
place. The allen wrench is used to adjust the walking belt (see page 13). Cover the floor beneath the treadmill
to protect the floor or carpet.
