(RPM) Input 120 V~, 2.1 A, 60 Hz ASSEMBLY UNPACKING This product requires assembly. Carefully remove the product and any accessories from the box. Make sure that all items listed in the packing list are included. WARNING: Always spin the wheel by hand before turning on the grinder to make sure the spark deflector doesn't hit the grinding wheel. WARNING: Do not use this product if any parts on the Loose Parts List are already assembled to your product when you unpack it. Parts on this list are not assembled to the product by the manufacturer and require customer installation. Use of a product that may have been improperly assembled could result in serious personal injury. Inspect the tool carefully to make sure no breakage or damage occurred during shipping. Do not discard the packing material until you have carefully inspected and satisfactorily operated the tool. If any parts are damaged or missing, please call 1-800-525-2579 for assistance. WARNING: Do not connect to power supply until assembly is complete. Failure to comply could result in accidental starting and possible serious personal injury. TOOLS NEEDED See Figure 2, page 11. The following tools (not included or drawn to scale) are needed for assembly: Adjustable Wrench 10 mm Wrench Phillips Screwdriver LOOSE PARTS LIST See Figure 3, page 12. The following items are included with the tool: Hex Head Bolt 2 Washer 2 Clamp Bracket 2 Spark Deflector 2 Flat Washer 2 Lock Washer 2 Phillips Head Screw 2 Work Rest, Left 1 Work Rest Knob 2 Work Rest, Right 1 Carriage Bolt 2 Shield Rod, Right 1 Shield Rod, Left 1 Spark Shield 2 MOUNTING SPARK SHIELD ASSEMBLY See Figures 4 and 5, page 12. Insert shield rod into spark shield as shown. Attach the spark shield assembly and bracket to the wheel guard using a clamp bracket, washer, and hex head bolt. Using the 10 mm wrench, tighten bolt securely. Repeat above steps for the other side. 7 - English
