01 installing your dryer Method2 - Using the Short Hose, Long Hose, and Y Connector The dryer must be connected to the cold water faucet using the new inlet hoses. Do not use old hoses. If the "Y" connector cannot be attached directly to the cold water faucet, then you must use the short hose. 1. Turn off the cold water faucet. 2. If you have a washer water hose attached to the cold water faucet, unscrew and remove the hose. 3. Attach the short inlet hose to the cold water faucet. Screw on the coupling by hand until it is tight. Short hose (Inlet to cold water) 4. Using pliers, tighten the coupling with an additional two thirds turn. "Y' connector Do not overtighten. You can damage the coupling. 5. Attach the 'Y" connector to the stainless male end of the small hose. Screw on the coupling by hand until it is tight. 6. Using pliers, tighten the coupling with an additional two thirds turn. Long hose Do not overtighten. You can damage the coupling. 7. Attach the angled end of the long hose to the fill valve at the bottom of the dryer rear frame. Screw on the coupling by hand until it is tight. 8. Using pliers, tighten the coupling with an additional two thirds turn. Do not overtighten. You can damage the coupling. 9. Turn the water faucet on. 10. Method2 - Using the Short Hose, Long Hose, and Y Connector
The dryer must be connected to the cold water faucet using the new inlet hoses. Do not use old
hoses.
If the “Y” connector cannot be attached directly to the cold water faucet, then you must use the
short hose.
1.
Turn off the cold water faucet.
2.
If you have a washer water hose attached to the cold water
faucet, unscrew and remove the hose.
3.
Attach the short inlet hose to the cold water faucet. Screw
on the coupling by hand until it is tight.
4.
Using pliers, tighten the coupling with an additional two
thirds turn.
Do not overtighten. You can damage the coupling.
5.
Attach the ‘Y” connector to the stainless male end of the
small hose. Screw on the coupling by hand until it is tight.
6.
Using pliers, tighten the coupling with an additional two
thirds turn.
Do not overtighten. You can damage the coupling.
7.
Attach the angled end of the long hose to the fill valve at the
bottom of the dryer rear frame. Screw on the coupling by
hand until it is tight.
8.
Using pliers, tighten the coupling with an additional two
thirds turn.
Do not overtighten. You can damage the coupling.
9.
Turn the water faucet on.
10.
Check for leaks around “Y” connector, faucets, and hoses.
