Fun box Editing a melody While composing a melody or after opening a saved melody, you can edit it. 1. To change an entered note or rest, move the selection point by pressing the Left or Right key. The colour of the selected one changes to red to indicate that it is in Edit mode. 2. Change the position of the note or type of the note or rest the same as you would when inserting it. Press the or key to move a note to the next semitone higher position or lower position. You can access the following options by pressing the Options soft key in Edit mode. • Range: allows you to select more than one note or rest by pressing the Left or Right key. The selected ones are indicated in yellow. • Copy: copies the selected note(s) or rest(s). • Cut: cuts the selected note(s) or rest(s). • Paste: pastes the selected note(s) or rest(s) to the end of the melody. • Change: allows you to change the type of the currently selected note or rest. • Delete: deletes the selected note(s) or rest(s). • Play: plays back the current melody. 150

Editing a melody
While composing a melody or after opening a saved
melody, you can edit it.
1.
To change an entered note or rest, move the
selection point by pressing the Left or Right key.
The colour of the selected one changes to red to
indicate that it is in Edit mode.
