The melody is saved and a new stave displays. Using the composer options While composing a melody, press the Options soft key to access the following options: New: opens a new composer screen. Open: opens the list of your own melodies. Play: plays back the current melody. Save: saves the melody. Save as: allows you to save the melody as a different name. Instrument: allows you to change the musical instrument for the melody. Background melody: allows you to use the background melody. You can choose one of a variety of music genres, such as Dance, Jazz, Latin, Pop, or Reggae. Add note: allows you to add notes in different chord. Tempo: allows you to change the tempo for the melody. Volume: allows you to adjust the volume level of the main and background melodies separately. 131
