Advanced recording Video Resolution You can select the resolution of video to be recorded. Video Resolution 1080/30p 720/30p Menu Exit 3 Press the MENU button to exit the menu. Submenu items • 1080/30p ( ): Records in the FULL HD (1920x1080 30p) format. • 720/30p ( ): Records in the HD (1280x720 30p) format. • 30p indicates the product will record in progressive scan mode at 30 frames per second. • Recorded files are encoded using Variable Bit Rate (VBR). VBR is an encoding system that automatically adjusts the bit rate according to the image being recorded. • High resolution images occupy more memory space than low resolution images. If you select the higher resolution, there is less space to record videos in the memory. • The recording times depend on the resolution of a video to be recorded. ¬page 32 Photo Resolution You can select the resolution of the photo to be recorded.
