Turn Your Phone Off ■ Press and hold the phone powers off. key for two or more seconds. Your Note: If your phone is on and you press for less than one second, the phone will not power off. This prevents your phone from being turned off accidentally. Section 1 Charging the Battery Your phone is powered by a rechargeable standard LiIon battery. Only use Samsung-approved charging devices and batteries. Samsung accessories are designed to maximize battery life. Using other accessories may invalidate your warranty and may cause damage. Use the Travel Adapter The travel adapter included with your phone is a convenient, light-weight charger that rapidly charges your phone from any 120/220 VAC outlet. 1. Plug the large end of the Travel Adapter into a standard 120 VAC or 220 VAC wall outlet. 2. Insert the smaller end of the Travel Adapter into the charger/accessory connector at the bottom end of your phone. 12
