Phone Basics Setting Answer on Hold This feature allows you to hold an incoming call when you cannot answer immediately. To set Answer on Hold: ᮣ When you receive an incoming call, press Options (right softkey) > Answer on Hold. (The caller hears a message to wait for you to answer. will be displayed on the screen while the call is on hold.) To resume the call: ᮣ Press Answer (left softkey) or . - or - Press Options (right softkey) > Answer or Answer:Speaker. (The option will appear as Select Audio when connected to an optional hands-free device.) Note: Answer on Hold is not available in analog areas. Ending a Call To disconnect a call when you are finished: ᮣ Close the phone or press . Note: If the setting for Close Flip is not set to End, closing the phone will not end the call.
