LIGHT-MEASURING MODE SETTING You can select from 3 types of light-measuring modes. Multi-section light-measuring: The exposure is adjusted after sampling from multiple areas of the entire shooting screen. Center-weighted light-measuring: The exposure is adjusted after light is measured from the entire image, but with emphasis on the center area. Spot light-measuring: You can compose the picture and capture the image after first measuring the light only at the center spot of the LCD monitor. 1 Display the Shooting Setting Screen (page 47). 2 Select the light-measuring mode (EXP MEASURE) menu. h The light-measuring mode menu appears. n: Multi-section light-measuring W: Center light-measuring Y: Spot light-measuring 3 Select the desired icon, and press the SET button. 12 h This completes the light-measuring mode setting. h When spot light-measuring is selected, the light-measuring spot mark appears in the center of the LCD monitor. LIGHT-MEASURING MODE SETTING
You can select from 3 types of light-measuring modes.
Multi-section light-measuring:
The exposure is adjusted after sampling from multiple areas of the entire
shooting screen.
Center-weighted light-measuring:
The exposure is adjusted after light is measured from the entire image, but
with emphasis on the center area.
Spot light-measuring:
You can compose the picture and capture the image after first measuring the
light only at the center spot of the LCD monitor.

Display the Shooting Setting Screen (page 47).

Select the light-measuring mode (EXP MEASURE) menu.

The light-measuring mode menu appears.

Select the desired icon, and press
the SET button.

This completes the light-measuring
mode setting.
