To access the desired item, press CH a/s. To adjust the audio setting, press VOL k/l. TREBLE BASS BALANCE RESET Selected item VOL k button VOL l button TREBLE To increase treble response. To decrease treble response. BASS BALANCE RESET To increase bass response. To emphasize the right speaker's volume. To decrease bass response. To emphasize the left speaker's volume. To return all adjustments to factory preset levels. 6 Press MENU to exit. MENU TREB L E 0 An example screen displaying ON AIR when receiving stereo broadcasts Current channel number "← ON AIR" will appear next to STEREO or SAP when receiving STEREO or SAP broadcasts. 12 STEREO ON A I R SAP ON A I R MONO (CHANNEL call on screen) Note: • Once MONO mode is selected, the TV sound remains monaural even if the TV set receives a stereo broadcast. You must switch the mode back to STEREO if you want to hear stereo sound again. • Selecting MTS while receiving video signals from INPUT terminals does not change the type of sound; in this case, sound is determined by the video source. • If "FAO" mode is on, "SPEAKER" mode will automatically turn off. Changing "SPEAKER" setting will not affect "FAO" mode. 14
