Note • Display Saving does not work while you are calling, using WAP, or using an application. • To cancel the Display Saving: The display saving continues until either a key is pressed or there is an incoming alert. The first key press only cancels this function. You must press another key in order to input any numerical or text value. Setting the External Display (M 9-3-2) To Select the Backlight Time Out You can select the backlight time out for the external display. "Settings" → "Display" → "External Display" → "Backlight" 1. Select the desired time. Select "Off" to turn it off. To Adjust the Contrast You can adjust the LCD contrast of the external display between 9 levels. "Settings" → "Display" → "External Display" → "LCD Contrast" 1. Adjust the contrast by pressing a (High) and b (Low) for maximum clarity. 2. Press e. Display Setting Reset (M 9-3-3) The display settings can be reset to their default settings. "Settings" → "Display" → "Set to Default" 1. Enter your handset code. The default handset code is "0000". For details on changing the handset code, see "To Change Handset Code" on page 122. Sound (M 9-4) You can use this menu to check or edit the current Profiles settings. Call Settings (M 9-5) Set various types of functions and services.
