XL-DV60 Useful operation The subtitle language and the audio language you select during playback are reset each time you set this unit to the stand-by mode or change the disc. To keep your preferred languages, set them in the initial setting screen (see page 42). " To change the audio language (audio output) During playback, you can change the audio language (audio output). 1 While a disc is playing, press the SHIFT button, and then Audio language information press the ZOOM/AUDIO but- ton. DVD Operation When playing DVD, the language changes as follows: Audio 1/3: AC-3 5.1 English Audio 2/3: AC-3 2 English 1: Original (Dolby Digital 5.1 ch Surround) 2: English (Dolby Digital 2 ch Surround) When playing video CD, audio CD and MP3, the sound changes as follows: Mono Left Mono Right Stereo Notes: ! The audio language on some DVDs may not be changed. ! For audio language and audio system, refer to the manual of the disc. ! When playing a DTS on this unit, sound is not heard from the speakers. To listen to the sound, change the audio language. (Example: Dolby Digital 5.1-channel, Dolby Digital 2-channel, etc.) However, only the 2.1-channel sound can be reproduced.
