The foot has a raised metal bar in the center front that allows more thread into the stitch as you sew, producing long loose stitches, while the large opening on the back of the foot allows the stitches to pass freely. 1. Remove the machines presser foot and presser foot ankle. 2. Attach the Fringe Foot to the machine securing it with a screwdriver. 3. To create seams with the loops intact, select zigzag stitch. 4. Sew a single row, or multiple rows. 5. To create eyelash fringe, select an overedge stitch.The locking stitches at the sides will hold the stitches in place after trimming the loops.Use a pair of thread snips and cut the loops open.
