USING VOICE ANSWERING When the phone is handheld, the flip must be open. To answer the call when the phone rings, say the voice label you have recorded for answering, for example "Answer". To reject the call, say the voice label you have recorded for rejecting, for example "Busy". I you use the phone with handsfree equipment, portable or car kit, it does not matter whether the flip is open or closed.
