Optional Components Hooking up optional components To enhance your system, you can connect optional components. Refer to the operating instructions provided with each component. Optional digital component To the digital input jack of an optional digital component Optional Components From the audio output jacks of an optional analog component Optional analog component A DIGITAL (OPTICAL) OUT jack Use a digital optical cable (square, not supplied) to connect an optional component (such as an MD deck) to this jack. You can then record digital audio from this system. Note There is no digital audio output from this jack during playback of MP3 audio tracks.
