Troubleshooting Others Symptom Cause and/or Corrective Actions The Remote Commander supplied with your camcorder does not work. • COMMANDER is set to OFF in the menu settings. c Set it to ON. (p. 64) • Something is blocking the infrared rays. c Remove the obstacle. • The batteries are inserted in the battery holder with the + - polarities incorrectly matching the + - marks. c Insert the batteries with the correct polarity. (p. 128) The picture from a TV or VCR does not appear even when your camcorder is connected to outputs on the TV or VCR. • DISPLAY is set to V-OUT/LCD in the menu settings. c Set it to LCD.
