Troubleshooting If trouble occurs If you run into any problems using the printer, use the following guidance to solve the problem. If the problem persists, consult your Sony dealer. To confirm and evaluate error occurrence and improvement, Sony may check the data of the internal memory within the minimum possible range. Please be assured that we do not copy or save the content or data. Power Symptom The 1 (on/ standby) button cannot be turned on. Check • Is the AC power cord properly connected? Cause/Solutions c Connect the AC power cord to an AC outlet securely. (.page 12) Displaying images Symptom The LCD screen displays no images. No images appear either on the LCD screen or on the TV monitor. Check • Is the memory card or an external device properly inserted? • Does the memory card, the internal memory, and an external device contain images recorded with a digital camera or other device? • Is the file format compatible with the DCF? • Is the TV input selector set to the printer? Cause/Solutions c Insert a memory card or an external device properly. (.pages 16, 48, 49) c Insert a memory card or an external device that contains the recorded images. Check to see that images are recorded in the internal memory. c Check the file formats that can be printed with the printer. (.page 82) c If an image is not compatible with the DCF, it may not be printed with the printer even if it is displayed on the PC monitor. c Even if the TV input selector is set to the printer, no images will be displayed when an HDMI cable is connected. c Switch the TV input selector to the printer.
