Use this mode to shoot at close distances. Locked to the W side: Approximately 1 to 20 cm (13/32 to 7 7/8 inches) Notes • In Sweep Panorama, Movie Mode, Anti Motion Blur, Hand-held Twilight, Smile Shutter or Easy Mode, Macro mode is fixed to [Auto]. • Note the following points when using the Close focus mode. - You cannot use the Scene Recognition or Face Detection functions. - This mode is cancelled if you turn off the power or switch the shooting mode to another one. - The flash mode settings you can use in this mode are [On] or [Off] only. - The focus speed becomes slower.
