Selecting the focus area (AF area) Select the desired AF area to suit the shooting conditions or your preference. The AF area where the focus has been confirmed turns green and the other AF areas disappear. • In viewfinder mode, the AF areas that were not used to adjust the focus will disappear. In viewfinder mode, four metering points are also used, in addition to 11 AF areas. The camera uses the AF area located in the center area exclusively. Choose the area for which you want to activate the focus from among 15 AF areas (the 11 AF areas in viewfinder mode) with the controller. Press the AF button to display the setup screen and select the desired area. Using the shooting function
Select the desired AF area to suit the shooting conditions or your
preference. The AF area where the focus has been confirmed turns green
and the other AF areas disappear.
