Playback Locking the controls (HOLD) You can prevent accidental button presses while carrying the player by locking the controls. The lamp flashes in red for a while if you press any button when the HOLD function on the player is activated. 1 Slide the HOLD switch in the direction of the arrow. Using the top menu Some DVDs have more than one title of picture or music feature recorded. Titles are the longest sections of a picture or music feature on a DVD. In the top menu, you can play your favorite scene or song by selecting titles of scenes and songs. The contents of top menus differ depending on the DVD. Read the instruction manual supplied with the disc. 1 Press TOP MENU. The top menu is displayed. 2 Press to select the desired title, then press ENT. The title you selected starts to play.  Tip If you want to make the top menu disappear on the way of operation, press TOP MENU. 25
