Table of Contents Touch the subject of which you want to adjust the exposure. To return the setting to automatic exposure, touch [Auto]. Notes [Exposure] is automatically set to [Manual]. Spot Focus You can select and adjust the focal point to aim it at a subject not located at the center of the screen. Touch the subject of which you want to adjust the focus. To adjust the focus automatically, touch [Auto]. Notes [Focus] is automatically set to [Manual]. Exposure You can fix the brightness of a picture manually. Adjust the brightness when the subject is too bright or too dark. Auto Adjusts automatically depending on the image being recorded. Manual Adjusts manually. Tips You can also adjust manually by using the MANUAL dial (p. 47). Gain You can adjust the gain manually when you do not want to use the AGC (automatic gain control). Auto Adjusts automatically. Manual Adjusts gain value (0 dB~30 dB) manually. Notes Noise increases at higher gain values. ISO Sets the luminous sensitivity for recording still images. Auto Your camcorder sets the appropriate ISO sensitivity according to the ambient light. Manual Fix to the ISO (100/200/400/800/1600/3200/6 400/12800/25600) adjusted manually.
